Truck INN Tuesdays Recap- How We Summer in Greenville, SC

One of the greatest attributes of this beautiful city we call home is that it allows small, boutique, independent places like us branch out and do really great, cool community events to bring folks together. At the end of the day, isn't that what it's all about? Truck INN Tuesdays brought people from all over the place to 1 Logan St. to meet up, have a taco and a beverage, support local Makers, Farmers, and Popsicle Stands, and listen to live music. We think that's what summer is about: hanging out, block-party style with your buddies after the 5pm bell rings. No fuss, no muss, just a great time. Truck INN Tuesdays hosted residents of our backdoor neighbors, 400 Rhett Apartments, downtown dwellers, newcomers to the city from Louisville, KY, recent retirees living in Travelers Rest, commuters from Easley, Spartanburg, and Greer, the nice folks from Pickwick Pharmacy, the ever elusive behind-the-scenes guys from Albino Skunk Festival, local bike shop employees, a magnitude of doodle dogs, and yes, even Pickle the Pig. One of our favorite groups that came week INN and week out was the gaggle of parents and kids on their bikes, taking the trip over on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Unique vacation and staycation options at Swamp Rabbit Inn

It’s safe to say that Truck INN Tuesdays is now a summer staple at the Swamp Rabbit Inn in downtown Greenville. If you haven’t experienced one yet, you should for a few reasons. #1- Greenville is an amazing place with loads of fun activities and music, but they primarily cluster around the Friday, Saturday, Sunday portion of the week. Truck INN Tuesdays happen on, well, you’re smart folks. #2- the growth of Greenville is happening rapidly but the West End lacks an abundance of food options; not only do we offer Food Truck snacks and dinners, but many local food makers, and King of Pops make it an all encompassing epicourian experience. #3- The West End in general is on the cusp of revitalization and expansion. It’s a great part of town to walk or ride your bicycle to explore what this great southern city has to offer.

So come see us. Take a tour of the Swamp Rabbit Inn. Eat and drink with your friends while listening to local music. Buy and support local makers and crafters. It’s not a bad way to spend a Tuesday evening.
